Finding the correct building and room

The School of Computing and Engineering is primarily based in the Spärck Jones Building (formerly Canalside West), Haslett Building (formerly Canalside East) and Technology Block buildings, on the Queensgate campus. However, you may have teaching in other buildings, particularly when there are large group lectures.

Maps of Huddersfield and the University campus can be found on the University website: www.hud.ac.uk/about/maps.

Each room number is set up in the same way across campus. Firstly there are letters to denote the building, then numbers for the floor and the room eg SJ1/01 is Spärck Jones Building, floor 1, room 1. All Spärck Jones Building rooms start SJ, all Haslett Building rooms start HA and Technology Block Rooms start T.
