Student number and identity cards

At the start of your course when you have completed your enrolment with the University you will have your photograph taken and this will be reproduced on your Student Identification Card which has your student number printed on it. Your student number is also used to log onto University computer systems.

NOTE: You will need to keep the card with you at all times when attending timetables sessions as you will need to swipe to record your attendance.

The card allows you access to the University Library and Computing Facilities and also allows you access to restricted areas for your course and, as relevant, outside normal opening times.

Replacement cards are available from the iPoint in the Library.
