Student Ambassador Scheme

School of Computing and Engineering Student Ambassador Scheme – Applications open now for the 2019/20 academic year!

We’re looking to recruit students studying within the School of Computing and Engineering to become part of our events and marketing team.

SCE Student Ambassadors support a wide range of activities organised by the Marketing and Recruitment Office within the School of Computing and Engineering, acting as role models and motivators to encourage other young people to consider higher education.  Ambassadors share their own unique experiences including challenges and barriers they may have faced and overcome as well as successes and achievements.

Who can apply?

We are primarily looking to recruit students currently in their first year of study and those returning from placement year, but applications are open to Undergraduate students in any year group.  Masters students who have undertaken Undergraduate study within the School are also welcome to apply. We would ask you not to apply if you are currently seeking a placement / considering deferring and aren’t sure if you’ll be around next September.

Please note: this scheme is open for Undergraduate and Masters students only and not PhD students.
