As a registered student of the University, you are expected to attend your scheduled classes. If you miss classes, your absence will be noted and you may find that you have to explain your poor attendance. Continued poor attendance will lead to exclusion from your course. Wherever possible, we will inform you of any changes to your timetabled sessions by email and/or through Unilearn announcements in advance of the planned activity. Unfortunately, there are occasions when a lecture may be cancelled at short notice, usually due to staff absence or as a result of severe weather conditions (resulting in cessation of public transport).
If a session has to be cancelled at short notice, you will be notified as follows:
